What a Care Assistant does with us
As a care assistant you visit clients in their own homes across London to provide non-clinical support: companionship and conversation, light home help, respite for family carers, and regular welfare check-ins. You help people stay independent, safe and connected. No two days are the same, and the relationships you build are the best part of the role. We do not carry out regulated clinical tasks, so you can focus on genuinely supporting the people you visit.
Companionship visits
Spend time with clients - a walk, a shared hobby, or simply a friendly chat that brightens their day.
Home help
Light cleaning, laundry, shopping and simple meal preparation that keeps home life manageable.
Welfare check-ins
Regular visits or calls to make sure everything is okay, with hydration and medication prompts.
